Welcome to February at IJAK!

As we move into February, we’re excited to dive into a month full of fun and discovery with our theme: ANIMALS – Animales! We’ll learn all about the difference between pets and zoo animals, creatures of the ocean and jungle, and enjoy Rodeo Week, learning about farm animals!

Zoo-Phonics & Alphabetic Knowledge

We’re nearly there, but there’s still more alphabet fun to be had! Introducing, P-P-Peewee Penguin, Q-Q-Queeny Quail, and R-R-Robby Rabbit. With our Zoo-Phonics friends, we’ll learn more about these letters and sounds through exciting songs and activities.

Parent Involvement Events

Valentine’s Day: Friday, February 14th from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Send your little ones to school in their best cowboy and cowgirl outfits on Friday, February 14th, so they can enjoy a special Cowboy Breakfast with their teachers and friends!
